Thirty Five

I turned 35 yesterday, and had a wonderful day doing so. In light of recent typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) devastating my country unimaginably, I had cancelled my planned birthday dinner party at the last minute- but my family threw me a surprise party at my sister’s house. I was surprised, had a great time, but was touched more than anything else. I love my family.
